Kim Bo Ra, director Jo Ba Reun divorce after a year

Kim Bo Ra and director Jo Ba Reun have ended their marriage less than a year after their wedding.

Bo Ra’s agency, noon company, confirmed the separation on May 10, addressing earlier rumors.

“After careful consideration and plenty of discussion, Kim Bo Ra [and her husband] proceeded with an amicable divorce by mutual agreement, and recently, all proceedings were completed.” stated the agency. “We entreat you to refrain from groundless speculation, sensational reporting, and the spreading of false information regarding this matter.”

Bo Ra and Ba Reun, who met while working together on the film The Grotesque Mansion, were married in June of last year after three years of dating.

Bo Ra's acting journey began in 2005 with her debut as a child actress in the drama Wedding. She later soared to stardom with her performance in SKY Castle (2018). Ba Reun, on the other hand, previously directed the films Slate (2021) and Gang (2020).
