Bea Borres not open to co-parenting with anyone after revealing pregnancy

Bea Borres made it clear she is choosing to raise "Baby Pea" as a single parent and will not be entering into a co-parenting arrangement.

"I’m really not gonna co-parent po with anyone," she said in a Facebook post a day after she announced her pregnancy.

She then made a follow-up post where she playfully suggested that she and Andrea Brillantes would share parenting duties for the baby.

Borres also appeared to hint that she no longer wants to comment on anything more, saying, "I don’t wanna talk na, basta happy mommy, happy baby."

Meanwhile, the alleged father of Borres' baby appeared to have broken his silence on her pregnancy. Borres' apparent ex-boyfriend, Meray Yamada, took to his TikTok account to comment on the matter and address his failed relationship with the social media personality.

"Things may not have worked between Bea and I, but I never said I didn't want to be there for our baby," he wrote.

"I may not have handled our situation the best as of late, but walking away has never been an option for me. I'm here. And I'm going to do whatever it takes to be the best father I can be," he added.

Yamada highlighted how his daughter "deserves nothing but the best" and that he will "work everyday to give her the life, love, and support she deserves."

"I will do better. For as long as I am accepted into our child's life. Ready or not, I will answer the call with my whole heart," he said.

"I hope and ask that we are given the privacy necessary to navigate our situation most especially the journey of Bea's pregnancy as smoothly as possible," he added in the now-deleted statement.

Last Aug. 12, the 22-year-old actress posted an eight-minute video on her YouTube channel detailing how she found out about her pregnancy and how she's genuinely happy about it. She was surrounded by Toni Fowler, Alex Gonzaga, and her husband Mikee Morada, who offered support and advice when she took the pregnancy test.

Apart from being a content creator, Borres is known for appearing in ABS-CBN shows Kadenang Ginto and Hiwaga ng Kambat.
