Daniel Padilla took home the Outstanding Asian Star Award at the 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards.

ABS-CBN's variety show ASAP shared the good news on their Instagram account, detailing that Padilla was recognized for his performance as Andres Malvar in the action-drama series Incognito.

"Big congratulations to Daniel Padilla for earning global recognition as the Philippines' Outstanding Asian Star at the 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards for his performance in Incognito!" they wrote.

"Your talent continues to shine on the world stage — we’re proud of you, DJ!" they added.

Incognito centers on seven individuals with dark pasts who are recruited into a secret military team to take on high-risk missions the government can’t handle—fighting crime while seeking personal redemption.

The series also stars Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Baron Geisler, Kaila Estrada, Maris Racal, and Anthony Jennings.

Padilla becomes the seventh Filipino celebrity to win the same title behind Gabby Concepcion, Dennis Trillo, Alden Richards, Dingdong Dantes, Belle Mariano, Kathryn Bernardo, and Kim Chiu.

The actor was previously nominated in 2023 for the romantic comedy 2 Good 2 Be True, where he starred alongside his former girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo. Both of them were nominated in the same category that year, but the win eventually went to Bernardo.

The 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards will take place on Oct. 2 at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea.
