The zombie mayhem continues, as the second season of the hit South Korean horror series All of Us Are Dead has officially started production!

Netflix shared the exciting update through a teaser video on their social media accounts. The scene featured a script-reading session where returning cast members Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Lomon are joined by a zombie.

The video then teases the new cast members who will appear in the upcoming season, including Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won, and Yoon Ga-i.

Netflix also shared additional pictures of the cast during the script-reading session with the caption, "Unfinished desperate battle, the second story."

Based on the Korean webtoon Now at Our School by Joo Dong-geun, the first season of All of Us Are Dead was released back in 2022 and follows several ordinary high schoolers who end up at ground zero of a zombie apocalypse after a science experiment gone wrong.

Cut off from the outside world by the government, which seeks to contain the outbreak, the group of teens is forced to protect themselves, all while dealing with heavy interpersonal tension.

According to Netflix, after it premiered in 2022, All of Us Are Dead shot straight to the top 10 most-watched non-English TV series in 91 countries, where it stayed for two consecutive weeks. The zombie K-drama also drew 361 million viewing hours in its first 10 days.

The release date as well as other cast members for the second season have yet to be revealed.
