Yen Santos, Chavit Singson address longtime love child rumors
Actress Yen Santos and businessman Chavit Singson sat down together to address longtime rumors about their supposed love child.
In her latest YouTube vlog uploaded on Aug. 27, Santos asked Singson 21 questions about his life, including on success, wealth, politics, values, and romance. It culminated on the topic of the love child rumors, which got renewed attention last July.
“Ano ang comment mo sa mga rumors tungkol sa atin," she asked, to which Singson responded, "Palagay ko, ikaw lang ang makakasagot niyan."
Santos chuckled as Singson added, "Di na ako magtatanong sa iba."
She then asked him, "Anong message mo sa bashers?"
After a brief pause, Singson laughed before saying, "Wala naman, okay lang."
"Okay lang dahil 'yung iba, marites lang," he said, with Santos chuckling anew.
Toward the end of the video, Santos told viewers she'd tell the story of how she met Singson.
"Matagal na, 'no? Parang 10 years, more than a decade na," she told him. "Kasi, he's a good family friend. Super tropa 'to ng aking parents."
"Kaya lagi tayo na-i-issue. Meron pa nga daw tayong anak, 'di ba," she said, laughing, as a smiling Singson is just looking at her.
"Malaki na daw 'yung anak natin, si Yan Yan," she added, before facing the camera. "So, anak ba natin 'yun?"
"Ewan ko sa 'yo," he said, as Santos burst into laughter and Singson giggled.
"Guys, hindi po namin 'yun anak. Kapatid ko 'yun," she said, placing her hands on Singson's arm, "and ninong siya no'n."
Earlier in the interview, Santos asked Singson whether he had a relationship with a celebrity, to which he said, "Wala pa."
She also asked how many girlfriends he had, to which he tried to count by his fingers, only to say, "Mahirap 'yun ah... next question."
Santos also asked whether Singson has a local celebrity crush, to which he faced Santos and said, "Hi," making her laugh.
As to what his ideal girl is, Singson said, "'Yung simpleng tao lang. Meron akong tawag doon, Nakakahiya sabihin dito."
Santos pressed him, saying, "Bulong mo sa 'kin," before getting closer to him.
He whispered something in her ear, but was bleeped. Santos then covered her mouth as she burst into laughter.
"Oh," Singson said, "huwag mong sabihin."
In her July vlog, Santos reflected on the question, "What's one rumor about you na hindi totoo?"
Santos answered, "'Yung tsismis na meron raw po kaming anak ni Manong Chavit. Guys, hindi namin 'yun anak, kapatid ko po yun. He's my youngest brother. Tatlo kaming magkakapatid."
"Sabi ko nga, di ko ugali kasi mag-correct ng tao pero natanong mo na. Nakikita ko sa TikTok, nagkalat, na malaki na raw 'yung anak namin. Yes, malaki na siya, he's 11 years old. Pero hindi po namin 'yun anak, kapatid ko po siya," she added.
