Want to be part of Princess Diaries 3? Miracles happen when you believe!

In the Instagram post of Adele Lim, the director of the upcoming third installment of the classic film, Disney is looking for an actress who will play the role of Olivia Robinson.

The actress must be female, 15 years old, and a mixed race (black/white). The role of Olivia was described as "smart, sarcastic, armored, and observant" who "wants to be left alone."

"After her mother passed away, she withdrew into herself, masking her sadness with caustic wit. But under her prickly exterior, Olivia’s natural warmth, compassion and courage to stand up to power is exactly what makes her a natural born leader. The only thing standing in the way is herself," it stated.

In case you didn't know, Olivia is the paternal half-sister of Mia Thermopolis, which was revealed in Meg Cabot's spinoff book, From the Notebooks of a Middle School Princess.

Interested applicants may send their recent photo, name, and where they are based to this email: PD3.Casting@mppfeatures.com. You may also check out this link to get the sides and taping instructions.

Note that your audition video must not be posted on YouTube or any other public sites.

The third Princess Diaries film was first announced to be officially in the works in October 2024. Anne Hathaway confirmed that she will reprise her role as Mia.

Lim is best known for directing Joy Ride and serving as the screenwriter for Crazy Rich Asians and Raya and the Last Dragon.

"As a diehard fan of the original Princess Diaries, I’m beyond excited to be a part of bringing the third iteration of this beloved franchise to life. We look forward to celebrating its core tenants of female power, joy and mentorship with audiences worldwide," Lim said in a statement to Variety.

The Princess Diaries films follow average teenager Mia Thermopolis as she finds out that she's of royal blood and is set to take the throne of the fictional land of Genovia. Her grandmother, Queen Clarisse, teaches her princess—and life—lessons before Mia eventually takes over the land in the second film.
