PH's 'Saving Grace' nominated at Seoul International Drama Awards 2025

ABS-CBN Studios' Saving Grace, starring Julia Montes, has earned nominations at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2025.

The Dreamscape Entertainment-produced drama series has been nominated for Best Series and Best Screenwriter (Danica Domingo).

"A heartfelt thank you to the Seoul International Drama Awards for honoring our work on the global stage. These nominations are a testament to the incredible talent, heart, and commitment of the entire Saving Grace team," ABS-CBN's statement read.

Directed by FM Reyes and Dolly Dulu, Saving Grace follows the story of Anna (Montes), an elementary teacher who rescues and abducts abused student Grace (Zia Grace) to protect her.

It also stars Sharon Cuneta, Sam Milby, Jennica Garcia, Christian Bables, and Janice de Belen.

Apart from Saving Grace, Apple TV+'s thriller series Severance S2 has received three nominations for Best Director (Ben Stiller), Best Screenwriter (Dan Erickson), and Best Actor (Adam Scott). It is about office workers who have undergone a surgical procedure to forget personal memories while at work and vice versa.

Hit K-drama series When Life Gives You Tangerines also received nods, with Won-suk Kim gunning for the Best Director award and Sang-choon Lim for Best Screenwriter.

For Best Actress, Cate Blanchett was recognized for her role in Apple TV+'s Disclaimer, as with Kim Min Ha for Pachinko S2, and Kim Dam Mi for Nine Puzzles. Also nominated are Duda Santos for She’s The One, Kim Jung-Young for My Trouble-Maker Mom, Rie Miyazawa for Asura, and 
Ying-xuan Hsieh for Forget You Not.

The winners will be announced in September, and the official ceremony will air on October 2 at 4:50 p.m. Philippine time on SBS. You can also watch a live stream of the event on the Seoul International Drama Awards official YouTube channel.
