Trigger warning: This article contains mentions of suicide.

Pamela Bach, an actress who appeared on Baywatch and The Young and the Restless, was found dead in her home. She was 62.

Her representative Sharon Kelly confirmed her death to entertainment portal TMZ, saying she's "in shock and still processing" it.

"Pamela was a 'force of nature.' She will be missed," she said. "My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter who Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into. She was a 'Proud Mama!'"

In a statement sent to the outlet, a representative for her former husband David Hasselhoff said they're "deeply saddened" by the news.

"We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time," they said.

Citing authorities, TMZ reported that the cause of her death was ruled a suicide.

Police said she was discovered lifeless in her home in Los Angeles after "family members had not heard from her and wanted to check on her out of concern," per the outlet.

Paramedics rushed to her house, where she was declared dead at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her head. No note was found there.

Bach was married to Hasselhoff from 1989 to 2006. They share two kids.

Aside from Baywatch and The Young and the Restless, Bach also appeared in Rumble Fish, Sirens, The Fall Guy, and Knight Rider, among others.
