Nephew of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo to pursue studies in the Philippines
The nephew of BLACKPINK member Jisoo is set to pursue his studies in the Philippines.
Kim Jiyoon, the older sister of Jisoo, shared on her Instagram Stories a picture of her son Minsung in the airport ready to fly to the country.
"Have a good study in the Philippines, Minsung," Jiyoon wrote in the caption as she included emojis of a plane, the Philippine flag, and hands doing the heart sign.
She also posted a picture of Minsung giving a sweet goodbye hug to his dad.
Jiyoon had once worked as a flight attendant until she resigned after giving birth to her first child. She has since been working as an influencer and freelance model, attending fashion events for brands such as Gucci and Chanel.
She has also maintained a close relationship with Jisoo throughout the years.
She previously attended the final stop of BLACKPINK’s Born Pink World Tour at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul to cheer for her sister.
She then sent some sweet words to Jisoo in an Instagram post, saying, "Our beloved BLACKPINK members were truly the best. And our Jisoo! I was so happy to see your solo stage in person. I love you."
Jisoo debuted as a member of the girl group in 2016 along with Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.
She is now gearing up for the group's 2025 world tour called <DEADLINE>, with upcoming shows in the Philippines on Nov. 22 and 23 at the Philippine Arena.
