Karen Lopez, an actress of the streaming platform VMX (formerly Vivamax), has surfaced days after she reportedly went missing.

"Pasensya na talaga kung bigla akong nawala nitong mga nakaraang araw," Lopez, whose real name is Iris Abraham, wrote in a Facebook post on May 14.

Lopez said she needed to rest and focus on herself amid her personal problems.

"Dumaan ako sa mga bagay na medyo mabigat mentally and emotionally, at napagtanto kong kailangan kong unahin ang well-being ko—even if that meant stepping back for a while," she said.

She acknowledged the public concern, saying she appreciates the messages and support she has received.

"Slowly, I’m getting better and trying to comeback stronger, one step at a time," she said. Slowly but surely, I’m getting back on track. Appreciate you all so much!"

Lopez's apology came minutes after the Quezon City Police District urged her family or anyone who has information regarding her supposed disappearance to file a report.

Last May 6, Lopez's manager, Lito de Guzman, took to Facebook to say that she had been missing.

He noted that she had scenes to film that day for her movie Maalikaya.

Lopez is known for the 2025 movie Habal, where she starred alongside Athena Red.
