Marjorie Barretto has graduated from college at age 51.

The former actress-politician took to her Instagram account to share that she has finally fulfilled her dream of finishing college after years of putting it on hold.

"At 51 years old, I finally wore this cap and gown. For years, finishing college was a dream tucked away—paused for show business, raising children, public service, business, and building a life. But God never forgot. In His perfect time, He gave me the courage to return, the strength to push through, and the joy of crossing this finish line," she wrote in the caption.

"The sweetest part? My children were there to witness it—taking my photos and videos, handing me flowers and gifts. A moment so surreal, a full circle moment," she added.

Marjorie received her bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from the Philippine Women’s University on Tuesday, Aug. 12. She was accompanied by her eldest child, Dani Barretto-Panlilio, and Leon, who also graduated from college this year.

She thanked her alma mater, as well as her friend, actress Ruffa Gutierrez, who graduated from the same university in 2022.

"I also want to thank my dear friend [Ruffa Gutierrez] for starting this journey for so many of us—she graduated first, lovingly encouraged me to go back to college, and always reminded me that I could do it," she wrote.

"To my loved ones who inspired me, pushed me, and talked me out of my panic and anxieties—thank you from the bottom of my heart," she continued.

She also reminded her followers that "it's never too late" to fulfill their own dreams.

"And to those my age who still carry dreams in their hearts: It’s never too late, and you are never too old, to realize the dreams God placed in you," she wrote.

Her children, fans, and friends sent their congratulatory messages to her on Instagram.

"So proud of you, mom! Now [it's] my turn to finish school and make you proud," Dani commented.

"Congratulations Tita Marj!! What an inspiration," Aika Robredo wrote.

"I’m in tears. Love you and so proud of you!! Congratulations [Marjorie Barrettop] YOU DID IT!! Let’s celebrate later!!" Ruffa also commented,

Claudia, meanwhile, posted a photo of her mom receiving her diploma on stage with the text, "Mom!!! I'm so proud of you!!! Proof that it's never too late to follow your dreams."
