Aisia Castelo is a transpinay queer feminist activist shaped by years of grassroots queer and trans liberation work. She is a licensed psychometrician and holds a master’s degree in Gender and Peacebuilding from the United Nations-mandated University for Peace. Her professional career is centered on movement building. She has global experience at organizations such as Global Action for Trans Equality (GATE) and Amnesty International, and experience with various local and regional groups focused on sexual and reproductive health and rights and civic freedoms. Outside of work, she enjoys writing and pursuing creative outlets in cozy coffee shops.
