Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes's steakhouse is opening next month.

The Kansas City Chiefs superstars announced that 1587 Prime will open its doors on Sept. 17 in Kansas City, coinciding with Mahomes’ 30th birthday.

The announcement video features Kelce and Mahomes trying out various items from their menu, with both stars speaking about the restaurant’s atmosphere and its connection to Kansas City. “We wanted to bring something special for the city of Kansas City,” Mahomes said.

Kelce continued: “What’s better than to break food with people over good food, good drinks and a cool vibe?”

The clip also offered a preview of the menu, which features their signature wagyu beef, chop salad, togarashi fried rice, shrimp sauteed in Diablo sauce with chipotle peppers, and a wagyu A5 beef smash burger.

Kelce and Mahomes announced a joint restaurant venture in March of last year, a partnership with the Noble 33 hospitality group. At the time, they stated they hoped to open the restaurant sometime in 2025.

The restaurant’s name, 1587 Prime, is a portmanteau of the players’ jersey numbers: 15 for Mahomes and 87 for Kelce.

The two-floor modern steakhouse is located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel. It features private dining rooms, curated displays of premium cuts of meat, and a large-scale wine collection.

Ready to dig in? The restaurant is open for reservations starting Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 12 p.m. CST ( Aug. 21, 1 a.m. Philippine time).

Kelce and Mahomes are one of the most iconic quarterback-tight end duos in NFL history. They've connected for 54 touchdowns, which ties them with Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham for the third-most QB-tight end connections in league history.
