Taylor Swift looked back on her first date with Travis Kelce and revealed the "insane" question she asked her now-boyfriend then.

The pop superstar recalled what happened on their first date during her guesting in the Aug. 13 episode of Kansas City Chief Travis and his brother, retired Philadelphia Eagle Jason's New Heights podcast.

"On our first date, I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl and he looked across the field, and saw his brother standing five feet away from him on the field," she said.

According to Taylor, Travis "didn't even look at [her]" then.

She said she later realized it was an "insane question" as Travis and Jason's player positions are never on the field at the same time.

"He was like, 'Actually, I'm on the offense and my brother is on the offense. I'm only on the field the same time as the defense.' I thought everyone was on there at the same time," she continued.

Taylor shared that the NFL player patiently explained the game to her, noting that he was "not judgmental about the fact that [she] knew nothing about the world [he's] in."

She added that she "fell in love" with football and is now "obsessed" with it.

"I'm forever thankful for you diving into football wholeheartedly," Travis told her in the podcast.

Taylor and Travis were first linked to each other in July 2023 when the football star was spotted at the singer's Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium. They finally confirmed their romance when Taylor was photographed giving Travis a sweet peck on the cheek as he put her hand on his chest.

A source previously told Yahoo! Entertainment that the NFL star sees himself settling down with Taylor in the future. "He and Taylor have [even] talked about kids. Travis wants them in the next year or so, and Taylor, of course, is all in," the insider said.
