Anino sa Likod ng Buwan is set during the armed conflict between the Philippine military and the communist resistance at the beginning of the 1990s. It centers on a married couple who form a complex relationship with a military man.
The three struggle to resolve an untenable situation as they get caught in a dense, labyrinthine game involving politics and friendship, love and lust, trust and betrayal.
The performance will run for two hours with no intermission. Entrance is reserved for mature audiences only as the play contains sex scenes, nudity, profanity, simulated sounds of gunfire, and violence.
You can purchase your ticket through Ticket2Me, with the price starting at P1,164.80.
Anino sa Likod ng Buwan first premiered in 1993 as a play by Jun Robles Lana. Its success led to a film adaptation by The IdeaFirst Company in 2015, which was screened at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, winning several accolades in the process.
