Telecoms are offering free unlimited calls and data to users amid heavy rains and severe floods brought about by the southwest monsoon, or habagat, and severe tropical storm Crising.

Globe

Globe announced on July 22 that Globe Prepaid and TM subscribers will receive free unli calls and texts to all networks, 100MB data for all apps, and an additional 100MB for Facebook, Viber, and more, valid for one day.

Meanwhile, Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi eligible users can access 5GB of free open data for three days. GFiber Prepaid subscribers in affected areas are also getting three-day promo extension.

Payment due dates for Globe Postpaid and GFiber Postpaid customers are extended to help ease the burden as communities face inclement weather.

Additionally, Globe is inviting customers to use their Globe Rewards points to donate to different relief efforts like the Ayala Foundation's Hapag Movement through the GlobeOne app. Donations are also accepted via GCash.

PLDT and Smart

The PLDT Office in Session Road in Baguio City is also open for Libreng Tawag and charging, while PLDT Dasmariñas and PLDT Imus Aguinaldo Hwy. offer free Wi-Fi.
