Kris Aquino bared that she has two more autoimmune diseases on top of the nine that she's currently battling.

The "Queen of All Media" gave a quick health update on Instagram, answering questions from her followers with her son Bimby.

"The typhoon made my rheumatoid arthritis hurt so much (it's hard to explain the other autoimmune diseases [I] have as well as the [two] recently diagnosed diseases because of my multiple autoimmune diseases)," she shared, referring to the severe tropical storm Crising, which exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility on July 19.

In a reply to one of her followers, Kris said that her 10th autoimmune disease was caused by her 9th one. In another comment, she likened her autoimmune diseases to the creatures in the 1984 film Gremlins, which multiply.

Meanwhile, the 11th disease came about because of her lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren's syndrome, and her other diseases.

The TV host was previously diagnosed with autoimmune thyroiditis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, EPGA, systemic sclerosis/scleroderma, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, polymyositis, and mixed connective tissue disease.

She did not share what types of autoimmune disease she was newly diagnosed with.

"I love my sons and they aren't ready to lose me—especially Bimb, who just turned 18," she said.

Kris also shared that she's currently staying at a compound owned by a friend of her brother, the late former president Noynoy Aquino.

"This place is very peaceful and living where I get fresh sea air and listen to the waves was always my dream," she wrote, adding that she is now bound to a wheelchair.

"I still need to learn how to walk again."

One of her close friends, journalist Dindo Balares, shared that Kris has "slowly but surely" been regaining strength, but she still experiences challenges, which has frustrated her.

"Hirap na hirap, nakita ko mismo, at narinig na mahinang sinasabing, 'I really hate being dependent' dahil kailangan siyang alalayan kung gustong bumangon o dapat kargahin papunta sa comfort room, pero tinitiis niya," he shared.

Aquino returned to the Philippines in September last year after spending two years in the United States for medical tests and procedures.
