Niña Jose-Quiambao expecting second child amid high-risk pregnancy

Actress-turned-politician Niña Jose-Quiambao announced that she is now expecting her second child, a pregnancy she considers a "miracle" given her challenging history of high-risk pregnancies.

Quiambao shared the good news in a Facebook video after she took her oath as the mayor of Bayambang, Pangasinan.

Quiambao went on to address how her past pregnancies have been challenging. She previously suffered from two miscarriages, losing her unborn babies Maria Christiano Isabelo in 2020 and Marian Hannah Claire in 2023.

She highlighted how she is "deeply humbled" by her journey to get elected, as it tested "not only my physical strength but my emotional and spiritual faith as well."

"There were moments of uncertainty, fear, and silence. But through it all, I felt the power of prayers and the love that was sent from above," Quiambao said.

"This journey, though deeply personal, has given me an even greater sense of purpose—to serve you better, with a heart more grounded, more compassionate, and more inspired by the gift of life itself," she added.

In a separate post, Niña posted a picture of herself flaunting her baby bump in an all-white ensemble and added the hashtag "miracle" in the caption.

Quiambao was a former housemate in Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 1 in 2006 and has since starred in films and television shows before entering politics.

She tied the knot with her husband, businessman Cezar Quiambao, in 2017. They have a son together named Antonio.
