British singer Charli XCX and George Daniel, drummer for The 1975, have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held in London.

According to The Independent, the wedding was held at London's Hackney Town Hall on July 19 with Charli's parents and Daniel's bandmates, except for The 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

In a video posted by Pop Crave, Daniel can be seen wearing a simple tailored suit and a boutonnière. At the same time, Charli, also known as Charlotte Aitchison in real life, donned an off-the-shoulder midi dress and a tulle veil, along with her signature ultra-black sunglasses, during a photo opportunity at the romantic event.

This came two years after the couple announced they were engaged in a series of Instagram posts, highlighting Charlie wearing a ring on her left ring finger.

"Charli XCX and George Daniel f***ing for life!!!" Charlie wrote at that time.

Charli and George's relationship reportedly began in 2021, two years after they were first romantically linked in 2019. They have collaborated on several of Charli's albums, including her 2024 release, Brat

The two first worked together on the 2021 single Spinning, a joint project involving Charli, The 1975, and Filipino artist No Rome.

In May 2023, Charli told The Sun about how George has somewhat had an effect on how she makes music. "It's really different to how I work, and that has definitely influenced me and my process."

"It's funny, I have never sort of been in a relationship with someone that I've worked with, so it's like a whole new dynamic," the 365 singer told the Spout Podcast in December 2023.

In a Rolling Stone U.K. interview, she gave more insight into their relationship, sharing that they want to "impress" each other. "Because we're obviously so close, you lose everything in terms of the normal studio boundaries."

"We flow really well, and he leaves a lot of space for people to breathe, and be them and do their process."
