LOOK: Sofia Pablo had a fangirl moment with the cast of Netflix's 'Wednesday'
Kapuso star Sofia Pablo had a fangirl moment as she met the cast of the hit series Wednesday at a Netflix event in Sydney.
On Instagram, the 19-year-old actress shared a glimpse of the affair, including some photos with the show's stars.
Among those she met were Jenna Ortega, who plays the titular Wednesday Addams, Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), and filmmaker and artist Tim Burton, who is also the director of the series. Some of them even signed autographs for the Filipina.
Sofia gushed about how warm and accommodating the stars were, calling the experience of meeting them a "core memory."
"[S]o this happened… @jennaortega @timburton @ememyers @hunterdoohan. [B]ig thanks to my @netflixph family for this experience #Wednesday #WednesdayIsland," she wrote in the caption.
In July, Netflix officially announced that Wednesday will return for a third season, even before season two's first part dropped on Aug. 6 and the second on Sept. 3.
There is no announcement yet on when season three will premiere.
Ortega, who also serves as series producer, previously said that the upcoming season will be "bigger" and "more action-packed," teasing that they will lean more toward the horror genre.
"It's really, really exciting because all throughout the show, while Wednesday does need a little bit of an arc, she never really changes, and that's the wonderful thing about her," she told E! News on the 75th Emmy Awards red carpet. "There's really, really good one-liners, and I think everything's bigger. It's a lot more action-packed."
Wednesday premiered on Netflix in November 2022 and was included in Netflix's Top 10 list of most popular English series. Its renewal for a second season was announced in January 2023.
