Philippines' Tarah Valencia wins third runner-up at Miss Supranational 2025
Philippine bet Tarah Valencia ended her Miss Supranational 2025 journey with a third runner-up finish.
The beauty queen from Baguio City finished as third runner-up during the coronation night held in Malopolska, Poland, on Saturday, June 28 (Philippine time).
During the question-and-answer portion, the 23-year-old beauty queen was asked, “Many young people today struggle with confidence and self-worth. What advice would you give them to help them embrace who they are?”
Valencia answered, “A lot of individuals would always bring you down, but I say this because I experienced this, but I was able to battle this by giving myself positive affirmations, such as ‘I am worthy,’ ‘I am capable,’ and ‘I can do anything through my power and through my own voice,' and that's what every individual should do to have their own self-worth. Thank you.”
She also turned heads with her national costume, which paid homage to Cordillera and carabao—"a symbol of hard work, perseverance, and deep connection to the land."
Designed by Emanuel Riñoza, the ensemble featured a solihiya weaving pattern and was made of Cordillera-sourced fabrics. It had a sculptured shoulder piece resembling a carabao’s head and a headpiece combining carabao horns and traditional Cordilleran beadwork, with a gold traditional salakot on top.
Eduarda Braum of Brazil was crowned Miss Supranational 2025, succeeding 2024 titleholder Harashta Haifa Zahra of Indonesia. Fil-German Anna Lakrini, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Globe 2023, finished as first runner-up.
The Philippines was previously represented by Alethea Ambrosio, who was named Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania. The country currently has one Miss Supranational title holder, Mutya Datul, from 2013.
