Katrina Anne Johnson of Davao Province clinched the highly coveted Binibining Pilipinas International crown, reigning supreme among 35 stunning contenders in the 61st edition of the pageant held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, June 15.
But Johnson did not just take home the prestigious title that night as a myriad of exciting prizes is also in store for her, according to the Bb. Pilipinas organization.
As Bb. Pilipinas International titleholder, the beauty queen will receive a P1 million cash prize—just like Iligan City's Annabelle Mae McDonnell, who bagged the Bb. Pilipinas Globe crown.
Johnson's new role likewise comes with practical perks, including a 6-month supply of Wellness Whispers by Dani Barretto, a P250,000 smile makeover from Urban Smiles, and club memberships with P200,000 worth of women's health services from The Med Club Diagnostics.
The Filipina beauty will also enjoy an 18-month Gold's Gym membership, personal training, and nutrition counseling; full scholarship training and total personality and human development coaching session from the executive training institute of the Philippines, Dale Carnegie Training; and P50,000 worth of accessories from Christopher Munar Accessories.
As Johnson stunned the judges and won Best in Evening Gown, she will also receive P50,000 cash from Wellness Whispers by Dani Barretto, P25,000 from PlayTime, an online gaming entertainment playground, and P30,000 worth of products and services from My Daily Collagen and Gold's Gym.
She won the Binibining Dunkin award, one of the special awards, which came with a P100,000 cash prize from the brand.
Johnson and McDonnell were followed by Dalia Khattab of Las Piñas (first runner-up) and Siargao’s Kathleen Enid Espenido (second runner-up). Each of them took home P400,000 on top of the crown.
