Enchong Dee brought to hospital, says throat 'almost closed' due to allergy attack

Enchong Dee shared that he was rushed to the emergency room due to an allergic reaction.

In an Instagram story on Monday, April 21, the TV host and actor thanked the doctors and nurses who took care of him at the hospital as he faced a health emergency.

"Thank you to all the ER doctors and nurses in Makati Med. My throat almost closed if it wasn't for their quick response," he wrote.

Enchong said he's still not aware of the "full list of my allergies," but noted it "will be a priority" as soon as he's done with work.

The Kapamilya star also stressed the importance of having health insurance. "Ang bigat-bigat ng extra gastos 'pag may karamdaman tayo," he said.

He has yet to share more details about his health scare as of writing. 

Enchong is set to star in the Philippine adaptation of the hit K-drama It's Okay Not To Be Okay alongside Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino. He is best known for his roles in various TV series and films, including Katorse (2009), Tanging Yaman (2010), Maria La Del Barrio (2011), and Ina, Kapatid, Anak (2012), among others.
