Beauty queen Yllana Marie Aduana will represent Siniloan, Laguna in the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 stage.

After hinting at joining the national pageant, the former Miss Earth Air 2023 winner was announced Monday evening to represent one of Laguna's municipalities.

Yllana was introduced on stage during a special event hosted by the organization at the Santa Rosa City Auditorium.

When asked, why should you be our next Miss Universe Philippines 2025, Yllana said she possesses a combination of drive, experience, and a genuine connection with her country.

"I believe I deserve to be the next Miss Universe Philippines because I am obsessed. I am obsessed with infinite possibilities and really excelling in all of those. And I feel like at this choice point, I have this equanimity that is really at its peak and I've never been so level-headed and I am ready to take all the challenges of being the Miss Universe Philippines," she answered.

"And with my experience of being a well-traveled queen, I've been to all 17 regions of the country, so I know all the local colors of the country. I know the different approaches to different types of people, and basically, I love the people. I hope there's a better expression that I can say, but I love the people and the overflowing love that I have within me makes me an effectual leader and an effectual spokesperson. And I think that to be Miss Universe Philippines is to be that even as a regular being," she continued.

Apart from Yllana, San Pedro's Eloisa Jauod and Los Baños' Rendelle Ann Caraig were also called on stage. The three will represent their province in the national competition to be held sometime this year.

Yllana represented the Philippines in Miss Earth 2023 where she placed as a runner-up. Despite not winning the title, she was a strong contender throughout her journey for the crown, having placed in the Top 12 of the national costume competition. She was also given the Best Bikini award.

Apart from beauty pageantry, she is a graduate of Centro Escolar University and has been working as a licensed medical laboratory scientist and model.

She founded the non-profit organization Edukasyon for Every Juan, which "promotes inclusive quality education" to children and students by providing them with free resource materials and activities.
