Kiray Celis now engaged to non-showbiz boyfriend
Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Kiray Celis as she is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend, Stephan Estopia.
The actress and comedienne announced the good news on her social media accounts, where she shared pictures of the moment Stephan got down on one knee to pop the question to her at the beach.
Kiray was seen unable to hold back her tears as her longtime partner slipped the ring on her finger.
The proposal, which was held at night and featured an arch, flowers, and lamps, ended on a high note with the two lovebirds sharing a sweet kiss and watching a stunning fireworks display from a distance.
Their nearest and dearest were also present to witness the intimate moment.
"Ang CEO ng Hot Babe, Hello Bloom at Day-Li ay ENGAGED na!" the local star wrote in the caption, referring to her online business brands.
In a separate post, Stephan expressed his delight at his girlfriend's answer to his proposal, writing, "She Said YES!"
Kiray later delighted her followers when she posted a close-up picture of her stunning engagement ring on her Instagram stories.
Many of her celebrity friends took the time to send their heartiest congratulations to them, including Marian Rivera, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Rocco Nacino, Patrick Garcia, CJ Navato, among others.
In an interview with the media, Kiray shared that Stephan had already mentioned wanting to settle down even before they had hit their first anniversary as a couple.
"Bago pa kami mag-isang taon, tinatanong na niya ako kasi sabi ko nga, lagi kong pinagmamalaki na hindi pala sa tagal ng panahon na nakilala mo ang isang tao na masasabi mo ito na 'yung papakasalan mo. Minsan kung sino pa 'yung maikli mong kakilala ay kasal na agad," she said.
Kiray first went public with her relationship with Stephan back in 2019.
