Cesca Litton finishes chemotherapy: 'I could finally breathe and let go'

Cesca Litton has completed her chemotherapy sessions months after announcing her breast cancer diagnosis.

In a now-expired Instagram Story entry, the TV personality shared a photo of her raising six fingers to indicate the six chemo sessions she had.

"Chemo 6/6. The last one. And I hope I never have to deal with cancer ever again," she wrote. "God is good. Always. And hello, yes, this is me, bald."

In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared a slideshow of her treatment while surrounded by her friends and family. In a few scenes, she can be seen crying while socializing. She also had a "graduation ceremony"—complete with a graduation cap and a congratulations tarpaulin—upon completing her sessions.

"Found a lump. Act now, feel later. Diagnosis. Act now, feel later. Surgery. Act now, feel later. After 6 cycles of chemotherapy, later is now," she said in the caption.

"It felt like I was holding my breath for the past few months, holding myself together because there was still so much to be done. The closer I got to my last chemo cycle, the more I unraveled, and last Friday (June 27), I could finally breathe and let go," she added.

Litton noted that it's "not over yet," as she'd start hormonal treatments in July. She'd also have "more tests and meds" for the next five years, "and then hopefully be declared officially in remission."

"For now, I celebrate this win," she said. "I will celebrate every single win I can, big or small."

She added that she's also celebrating the people "who got me through."

"Every single circle in my life stepped up, the expected and the unexpected. Complete strangers who have reached out and shared their stories, prayers, words of encouragement. My doctors and nurses who ensured I got the best care. But above all else, how do I even begin to thank a God who carried me through this?" she said.

Litton also apologized for being "just a weepy mess, the floodgates are open and I’m not sure how long it’ll take for all the emotions to settle."

"Thank you for all the love and support," she continued. "Job’s not done, but we keep going. God is good. Always."

Litton's peers expressed their support in the comments section, including TV hosts KaladKaren and Migs Bustos, radio personality Tin Gamboa, sports caster Leigh Ellis, and cancer survivor-turned-cancer exercise specialist April Perreras.

She announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2024.

In January 2025, she underwent a mastectomy, a surgical procedure that removes all breast tissue to deal with the cancer.

Litton served as a host of the now-defunct ABS-CBN shows SNN and E-Live.
