'Bridgerton' Season 4 to premiere in 2026, Seasons 5 and 6 announced
Bridgerton has been renewed for two more seasons, while its fourth installment is coming in 2026.
Netflix gave an update on the period romance series on Thursday, May 15, saying that the upcoming season will focus on Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), the second son of the Bridgertons. "Unwilling to settle down like his brothers, his perspective changes when he encounters a captivating Lady in Silver (Yerin Ha) at his mother’s masquerade ball," it said.
The streaming platform dropped a sneak peek of Season 4 on its YouTube page.
Netflix also announced that the hit series has been renewed for Seasons 5 and 6, saying that a "rousing celebration is certainly in order."
What we know about Bridgerton Season 4
In addition to Thompson and Yerin Ha, the upcoming season will star Nicola Coughlan as Penelope and Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton.
Jonathan Bailey, who plays Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, confirmed in an interview with Good Morning America that he will be back in the upcoming season.
"We're going to follow the stories. The thing about Bridgerton, which is so brilliant, is that there's so many different ways you can fall in love as humans and that's what this show will explore. Obviously being the older brother, I'm going to be there to support the youngsters as we go," Jonathan said.
Bridgerton is based on the book series by Julia Quinn and was created for television by Chris Van Dusen. Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, and Tom Verica serve as executive producers.
