When you try your best but you don't succeed...

A man and a woman were spotted being sweet at a Coldplay concert "kiss cam," only to scramble and hide. It turned out that they're a company's boss and chief human resources officer allegedly having an affair.

Viral videos of the British band's show in Boston on July 16 showed Astronomer's Chief Executive Officer Andy Byron hugging Chief Human Resources Officer Kristin Cabot from behind—his hands placed over her chest while her hands were over his.

Seeing them on the big screen, frontman Chris Martin said, "Oh, look at these two."

Realizing that they're in the spotlight, Cabot covered her face and turned her back.

"Come on, you ok?" Martin said as Byron, already out of the camera's sight, sat on the ground and waved both of his hands.

"Uh oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy," Martin added, as the crowd erupted in cheers. Cabot can also be seen leaving her spot.

The moment became viral, spreading over Facebook and X. It even has an entry on Know Your Meme.

Pop Base, which monitors pop culture phenomenon on X, also shared screenshots of Byron's wife supposedly removing her last name from her Facebook profile following the incident.

In her now-missing LinkedIn page, Cabot said she joined Astronomer in November.

"I'm a passionate people leader known for building award-winning cultures from the ground up for fast-growing startups and multi-national corporations," her profile read, as captured by Newsweek.

"An influential leader and fearless change-agent, I lead by example and win trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants. I pride myself on creating innovative systems and processes that attract top talent, while aligning an organization's people around its mission and values."

Byron, whose LinkedIn profile couldn't be found either, praised Cabot for her over 20 years of experience.

"Kristin's exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory," he said. "She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer."

Byron and Cabot have yet to issue a statement addressing the incident.

But amid the issue, a fake statement from Byron came out, with someone claiming to be a reporter from CBS News spreading it.

The fake statement showed Byron supposedly apologizing to the public, his family, and his company. It also blamed the concert organizers for shooting them without consent.

The viral fake comment ended by quoting lyrics from Coldplay's hit Fix You: "Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you."
