Globe Business’ Connected Success returns with a bold call to transform
Globe Business officially launches the 2025 edition of its Connected Success video series, shining a spotlight on industry leaders who are shaping the future of Philippine enterprises through purposeful innovation and bold leadership.
Anchored on the company’s core campaign message of courageous transformation, this year’s series aims to inspire organizations to move beyond surface-level change and embrace deeper, more intentional shifts—leveraging technology strategically, empowering teams, and fostering critical cross-sector collaboration.
The series opens with an episode featuring KD Dizon, vice president and head of Globe Business. Dizon shares how leadership rooted in clarity, conviction, and connection is essential for building future-ready businesses amid today’s fast-changing economic, technological, and environmental challenges.
“In today’s evolving business landscape, staying still is no longer a safe option—it puts companies at risk of falling behind,” Dizon said. “Through Connected Success, we are sharing practical strategies from across industries, but more importantly, challenging leaders to rethink what’s possible and act with courage even before all the answers are clear.”
Connected Success addresses the heart of today’s enterprise challenges. Top executives and experts from various sectors unpack transformation strategies relevant to today’s leaders, offering perspectives on crucial topics—from supply chain resilience and digital financial inclusion to AI integration in the workplace.
Joining Dizon in the series is government leader and social enterprise advocate Mary Jean Pacheco, Undersecretary for the Department of Trade and Industry. Pacheco emphasizes adaptation in the face of global disruptions: “Technologies will not replace humans. We need to invest in people.” She discusses workforce development as key to sustainable AI adoption and highlights the government’s role in strengthening supply chain resilience through interoperability.
Patricia Poco-Palacios, president and CEO of Global Dominion Financing, Inc. (GDFI), offers insights into the financial sector and the need for openness to new infrastructure ideas to drive digital financial inclusion in the Philippines. She notes that digital transformation—such as faster internet speeds and open finance—enables institutions to reach the unbanked and underserved, empowering communities with accessible financial services.
“If digital tools can lower our overhead costs, we can then pass on those benefits to our clients, which will enable even better access,” Poco-Palacios said.
Meanwhile, Haidee Enriquez, president of the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) and CEO of MicroSourcing, tackles AI and automation. Her mantra, “Humans plus AI, not humans versus AI,” underlines her discussion. Enriquez highlights how the IT-BPM sector’s global competitiveness has benefited from digitalization. She explores workforce transition, productivity enhancement, and creating fulfilling workplaces through strategic AI integration, reframing the conversation from fear of the unknown to talent optimization.
While each episode focuses on sector-specific challenges, a shared theme runs throughout: transformation requires bold leadership, a forward-thinking mindset, and the courage to shape the business landscape rather than merely respond to it. The series underscores how technology, including AI, is central to this courageous shift.
Now in its second year, Connected Success reinforces Globe Business’ role as an enabler of long-term business growth. What began as a content series has evolved into a platform for co-creation, reflection, and dialogue. It presents real-world applications of digital innovation, helping enterprises stay connected to evolving challenges and informed by cross-sector perspectives, all while fostering resilient, future-ready businesses.
The first episode, “The Leadership Edge: Courageous Transformation Starts Within,” featuring KD Dizon, is now live. Watch it and subscribe to the full series at https://glbe.com.ph/ConnectedsuccessS2.
