Antique's Blessie Villablanca captivated audiences and judges alike, earning the Best National Costume award at Binibining Pilipinas 2025.

The recognition was announced during the highly anticipated coronation night, held on June 15 at the iconic Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Her stunning ensemble, titled "Diosa Speciosa," is a creation by designer Al Manases Villar Alcoran and is a tribute to the Antique province's "crowning glory": the Rafflesia Speciosa, the world's largest flower.

"The gaze is immediately seized by the corset, a canvas empurpled with striking petal minutiae. It’s not just design; it’s a deliberate sculpting, shaping the waist into a silhouette of audacious fashion. Beneath, seamless mesh leggings and gloves, interwoven with stylized veins, whisper tales of nature’s intricate artistry, adding a touch of untamed elegance," read the post of video producer Kim Bryan.

The dress boasts a cascading train adorned with 3D rafflesias and is crowned by a striking giant rafflesia umbrella.

According to Bryan, Villablanca represents pure power and inherent beauty.

The 61st Binibining Pilipinas coronation night will see the successors of Myrna Esguerra and Jasmin Bungay, who competed in the Miss International and The Miss Globe pageants, respectively.
