Woman found dead with 26 iPhones glued to her body
A 20-year-old woman’s death is now under investigation after she passed away on a bus with 26 iPhones glued to her body.
According to the New York Post, the woman was reportedly en route from Foz do Iguaçu to São Paulo in Brazil when she had breathing difficulties, collapsed, and then died.
Medical responders attempted to save her for less than an hour before declaring her dead at the scene due to cardiac arrest.
They discovered a total of 26 iPhones glued to her skin as well as some alcohol in her luggage, Daily Mail reported.
According to The Mirror, authorities said the woman is suspected to have smuggled the gadgets, which are now with the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil.
The forensic report, which would determine the cause of her breathing difficulties and cardiac arrest, is still pending as of writing.
