Reelectionist Bong Go has widened his lead as he emerged as the most preferred senatorial candidate in a recent survey.

In a Pulse Asia survey, conducted from April 20 to 24 and published on May 5, Go was 20% ahead of second-placer ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo, who had a reference rating of 42.4%, and former Senate president Tito Sotto with a 41.1% support. This is 10% higher than his record in the February 2025 survey, where he had a 45% rating.

Meanwhile, other candidates who made it to the top 14 and have a statistical chance of winning a seat are mostly from the administration's Alyansa sa Bagong Pilipinas candidates and reelectionists such as Bato Dela Rosa, Bong Revilla, Ping Lacson, and Lito Lapid, among others.

Former senators Manny Pacquiao and Bam Aquino also ranked in the top 14.

Here's the table of Pulse Asia's April 2025 survey results:

Other candidates who failed to crack the top spot in the survey include Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Francis Tolentino, ex-senators Kiko Pangilinan and Gringo Honasan, former interior secretary Benhur Abalos, and action star Philip Salvador.

The latest survey was conducted by face-to-face interviews with 2,400 respondents aged 18 years and above. The respondents were asked to fill up a sample ballot similar to the one to be used on May 12. It has a plus/minus 2% margin of error at the 95% confidence level.

Only 27% of those surveyed had a complete slate for the Senate, while 8% voted for bets who have already withdrawn, 7.2% refused to fill up the ballot, and 1.8% accepted but left it blank.
