GUIDE: eGov PH Super App's new features and how to use them

Published Jul 19, 2025 9:44 am

With the eGov PH Super App, government transactions are now at your fingertips. You can access a wide array of services from home, avoiding the usual hassle of lines and traffic.

The digital platform, a project by the Department of Information and Communications Technology, was first launched in June 2023 to make government services nationwide easily accessible to Filipinos.

On Friday, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. launched the Bagong Pilipinas eGov PH Super App and eGov PH Serbisyo Hub, a physical center located along Pinaglabanan St. in San Juan City. This initiative will first expand to other areas in Metro Manila before a nationwide rollout in strategic locations.

Marcos remarked that this launch is a significant step forward, signifying the nation has "finally moved into the 21st century."

“We are trying to make things easier for our kababayans so they can go about their business na hindi naman sila nahihirapan,” he said.

The new eGov PH Super App expanded its offerings, becoming an even more comprehensive hub for various government services. While many already use the app for essential functions like obtaining eTravel passes, registering SIM cards, and accessing virtual government cards, this new update allows Filipinos to also seek employment, schedule appointments for civil registry documents, and even report crimes.

Here are the new services you can avail.

Among the eGov app's latest features is the BPESH, offering essential government services, various forms of financial assistance, consultation services, and help with employment and livelihood. The app streamlines the process by allowing you to conveniently upload all necessary documents and schedule an appointment.

Under the Government Services tab, you can set appointments for your NBI and police clearance, request an issuance of your National ID in paper format, and request the civil registry documents like a copy of birth certificate, certificate of no marriage, certificate of no death record, and more.

Requests for medical, funeral, and other financial assistance are also offered. Upon scrolling the page, you can seek financial aid from government agencies such as the Department of Health, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and the Presidential Help Desk, for your hospital bills, funeral assistance, and other medical expenses like chemotherapy treatment or medicine, and orthopedic implants.

For specific complaints and assistance, head to the Consultation Services tab, where you can submit reports to the Anti-Red Tape Authority, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Labor and Employment, the Department of Migrant Workers, the Philippine National Police, and the Public Attorney's Office for legal counseling.

The DOLE offers job search assistance. For students, there are opportunities for part-time employment through the Special Program for the Employment of Students and the Government Internship Program. Additionally, vulnerable and marginalized individuals can apply for the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program.

All requirements and eligibility are already specified before you can click the "Submit Requirements" button.

eReport

Also included in the newest addition is the eReport, a feature that allows citizens to report specific crimes, accidents, women and child abuse, fire incidents, scams, and more.

To file a report, you will be asked to detail the incident in the message box, as well as upload evidence to support your complaint/feedback. As of writing, some of its features are not yet available in some areas.

OFW

The OFW tab now provides comprehensive support for Filipinos working abroad. Here, they can access their OFW Pass, seek assistance, access services from PhilHealth, OWWA, and PAG-IBIG, and monitor their contributions and benefits. The last two features only work for those identified as OFWs in the app.

Agriculture

The Agriculture section highlights the government's KADIWA Program, which provides quality yet affordable produce directly bought by farmers and/or fisherfolk.

To avail of this service, you may find the nearest KADIWA stores near you. You can also apply for KADIWA Financial Grant Assistance on this page, specifically for local government units, state universities and colleges, farmers and fisherfolk, cooperatives and associations, and community-based organizations.

Startup

Tech geeks may also share their innovation on the Startup page, a unified platform for various entities in the local tech startup community. This feature allows developers to increase their visibility and expand their network in the field.

Jobs

In the Jobs page, users can now build their e-resumé by simply filling out their personal information. They may also browse job opportunities nationwide on the PhilJobNet page.

In the search bar, applicants may filter their job search by ticking boxes: PWDs, displaced workers, high school graduates, and government jobs.

Other than the new features, government IDs like Digital National ID, Senior Citizen ID, ePRC ID, ePhilHealth ID, OFW eCard, and some LTO services are already accessible within the app.

In availing of these services, the eGov PH app would require you to share your full name, birth date, address, sex, email, nationality, mobile, signature, PhilSys Card Number, photo, passport, and TIN, with specific government agencies.

If you haven't made an account yet, download the eGov PH Super App on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Any individual who is at least 18 years old can register on the app. To register:

  • Create an account using your mobile number and authenticate it using a One-Time PIN.
  • To get access to all of the app's features, verify your account by entering your basic information on the app. A National ID or PhilSys number is required to have your account verified.
  • Complete the face verification process and wait for the app to send you an email about your account's approval.
