Ready for a foodie getaway? Tagaytay Food Festival 2025 kicks off this July
Tagaytay is a classic go-to for a relaxing road trip and a treasure trove for food lovers, offering everything from quaint cafes to scenic dining spots. But this time, the city is preparing something special that goes beyond the usual food trip.
If you are looking for a unique dining experience, get ready for the upcoming Tagaytay Food Festival 2025.
Now in its second year, this festival, themed "Food That Binds," invites guests on a comprehensive culinary journey, exploring the roots of Filipino dishes, the passionate people who create them, and how the local cuisine continues to evolve.
The main festival runs for three days, from July 18 to July 20, at the Taal Vista Hotel.
What to expect
Attendees can look forward to farmers’ markets, talks with industry experts, and exclusive culinary experiences crafted in collaboration with esteemed chefs and personalities.
It kicks off on July 18 with a Festival Fair & Farmer's Market, where you can explore Cavite and Tagaytay's best ingredients. Sip and mingle at the Drinks Fest before indulging in the Grand Tasting, a special dinner with chefs presenting unique Filipino dishes.
July 19 is packed with Food Talks, featuring industry leaders like Thirdy Dolarte, Chaele Dee, Ryan Cruz, Stephane Duhesme, and Tina Legarda, discussing everything from sustainability to heritage. You can also join a Cavite City Food Heritage Tour for a deeper look into local culinary history or enjoy a special lunch at The Fatted Calf with a Michelin-starred restaurant, or the Veranda Heritage Lunch at Taal Vista. Wind down with Sunset Sessions at Taza Fresh Table, followed by "Food That Binds" at The Fatted Calf for an elegant cross-border dining experience.
The festival wraps up on July 20 with a New Menu Launch at Samira by Chele in Anya Resort Tagaytay. Later, experience Anzani Sunday Lunch: Mediterranean Flair, a unique collaboration previewing a new restaurant. The evening concludes with Sinta: A Collaboration Dinner, a soulful celebration of kitchen artistry.
The festivities culminate with their special finale event on Aug. 3 at Skyranch Tagaytay: the Creative Bulalo Challenge, where culinary creators will reimagine Tagaytay's beloved highland staple, offering fresh and exciting takes on the classic dish.
Tickets to the festival’s grand tasting event on July 18 are priced at P3,950 per person. Premium dining experiences have limited seating, and interested attendees are encouraged to book their seats early.
