Matchmaker wanted: Woman offers S$2,000 reward to person who can find her ideal partner
Ever feel like finding your soulmate is a full-time job? This woman from Singapore gets it, and she's taking a unique approach.
29-year-old Bella Dai is offering a S$2,000 (P86,173.17) bounty to those who can find her a life partner who fits her dating criteria, as reported by The Straits Times.
According to her now-deleted Instagram post, Dai is looking for a straight male who is 25 to 42 years old, is living in Singapore, has "mastery in his craft with focus and discipline," "cares for his wellnes and fitness," has the "courage to face difficult conversations," and is "open to explore spirituality and religions as self-development tools."
However, she will only give the reward if she gets into a "committed relationship" with the person for at least six months.

Dai, who has been single since 2020, explained that she was inspired to create the post after wondering what would happen if she "applied work principles to her personal life."
"I realized the struggle we have with finding a relationship is the search. None of my friends join dating apps because the intent of people on those is very unpredictable," she told the news outlet.
"If I was a product, how would I market myself? How would I make my status known among my friends? Because every campaign starts with awareness, I wanted people to know that I am available and I am looking," she continued.
Dai chose to price the bounty at $2,000 as it was large enough to "leave a lingering impression" but would not make one go "too crazy" for the cash. She also said this would help her friends, who know her best, to pre-screen potential partners for compatibility.
Dai, a founder of a wellness company, is into "wellness, yoga, and [the] spirituality world." "So it does take someone with an open mind to hang out with me," she said.
She is also confident that she won't be ghosted. "That’s what’s great about meeting through friends. You don’t have to worry about being ghosted because you know they wouldn’t do that to a friend’s friend."
She has since gathered five recommendations from her friends, two of whom are reportedly "serious."
Dai recently shared an update, saying, "I know this one will feel different. Ever since I started to practice my manifestation, meditation, when I close my eyes every day, when I tune into myself every day, knowing that the sense of peace, the sense of comfort, the mutual interests, it's what I truly want to experience in a relationship."
"And when I'm so familiar with how all those feels in my body, when I go on date again, and when I actually feel that with the person, it's like, 'Oh my God, that's what I was visualizing. That's what I was looking for this time.'
She ended her message by highlighting how she doesn't want "another toxic push and pull."
