Philippine Airlines is Asia Pacific's 'most on-time' airline—report

The Philippine Airlines has been recognized as the most "on-time" airline in the Asia Pacific, according to aviation analytics site Cirium.

Based on the April 2025 On-Time Performance Report, the airline ranked first in the top ten punctual airlines in the Asia-Pacific region. It is also the only Philippine carrier to achieve a placement.

The report detailed that PAL garnered an on-time arrival performance of 86.07%, covering over 9,895 flights across the flag carrier's global network.

Virgin Australia in Brisbane comes second with a score of 85.44% from 12,794 flights while All Nippon Airways in Japan is third with a performance of 81.85% from 25,210 flights.

Other airlines that made it to the list are Qantas, Jetstar, Garuda Indonesia, Air New Zealand, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and IndiGo.

Cirium defines on-time arrival as flights that arrive within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time.

Back in March, PAL ranked third in the most on-time airlines in Southeast Asia after achieving a performance of 81.98% from a total of 9,459 flights.
