LIST: Malls offering temporary shelter, free parking to those affected by Habagat, STS Crising
Relentless heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon, or habagat, continue to batter parts of the Philippines after Severe Tropical Storm Crising exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Crising and the southwest monsoon have left five people dead and seven missing, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
Meanwhile, 800,864 individuals, or 225,985 families, were affected in 1,556 barangays. A total of 20,115 individuals, or 5,921 families, are, on the other hand, in the evacuation centers.
As heavy rains continue to affect parts of the country, several major malls are offering crucial assistance to affected residents.
