A Russian mom influencer who gave birth weeks ago sustained an injury while attempting to do the viral Nicki Minaj stiletto challenge.

Mariana Vasiuc took to her Instagram account to share her failed attempt at the challenge. In the video, she was seen trying to balance on top of an upside-down saucepan and a can of formula milk on a kitchen counter while wearing high heels.

Someone on the side was holding her hand as she attempted to balance and stay in the pose. However, almost as soon as she lets go of the hand, she loses her balance and falls off the back of the counter.

In her caption, the 32-year-old influencer said that she was diagnosed with "Th9 compression bending uncomplicated fracture of the body."

"The irony? Karma? Or just life, which always tests our strength at the most unexpected moment," she quipped.

A T9 compression fracture usually heals on its own within a few months with rest, pain medication, and physical therapy. The healing time can depend on one's age, overall health, and the severity of the fracture.

In a separate post, Mariana said her viral failed attempt at the challenge made her a "popular person."

"More than 50 people sent me my reel from different publications today," she continued. "I’m doing great, following the guidelines and now living in 'star' status."

“Whoever worries about my child is also calm, he has two nannies, and while I was filming, one of them was with him," she added.

The viral trend was inspired by Minaj's music video for the 2013 song, High School, where she is seen balancing on high heels next to a pool. The pose was made into a trend, with social media users upping the game by showing their balancing skills on different objects, like dumbbells and a container of luncheon meat.
