Chills were felt quite literally in a movie theater in Argentina when a part of the ceiling suddenly collapsed on a movie-goer watching the horror film Final Destination: Bloodlines.

Fiamma Villaverde, a 29-year-old Argentine, was celebrating her birthday on May 19 with her 11-year-old daughter and a friend when they passed by Cinema Ocho in La Plata currently airing the movie, a saga famously known for its freak accidents of people who cheated death.

“The truth is, we hadn't planned to go to the movies… [But] since the tickets were cheaper than the rest of the week, we said, 'Shall we?',” Villaverde said in Spanish to Argentine news outlet Infobae.

But as the movie was about to end, a loud crash was heard when a ceiling panel fell from Cinema 4 directly onto Villaverde.

"There was a really loud noise. At first, we thought it was part of the movie because we were so absorbed, but then a huge piece fell on me," she recalled.

Instead of waiting for help, she went straight to the ticket office and demanded her money back. I got angry,” she said. “Just imagine if they hit my daughter in the head! They're irresponsible!”

Responders quickly rushed to the scene. Villaverde sustained several bruises and had to go for an X-ray after hurting her back.

She also shared that she’s receiving medications for her panic attacks and anxiety, and the accident made her condition worse.

“I hadn't been to the movies in years. I went because it was my birthday, and look what happened to me," she shared.

Social media users commented on the seemingly “5D experience,” and that the 29-year-old has now become “part of the plot.”

Those present at the accident shared that the recent heavy rains in the area may have caused it.

The theater has not made any official statement regarding the matter.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is a new addition to the franchise after 14 years. It tells the story of a college student who’s been plagued by violent nightmares and heads back home to find someone who can help save her family from a death cycle.
