Eraserheads' first-ever Electric Fun Music Festival has been rescheduled to a later date.

On its social media pages, the organizer announced that it will move the festival to Oct. 18 to "ensure that this much-awaited music festival is as epic as it can be."

“This gives us the opportunity to make the experience even more memorable for our amazing community,” it wrote in the statement. The event will still take place at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque.

It assured fans that all tickets purchased for the festival, originally set for May 31, are still valid and will be honored on the new date. For inquiries and concerns, ticketholders can reach out to Palawan Pay at help@palawanpay.com or SM Tickets, depending on where you purchased your ticket. Note that the email must include "EFMF Ticket Inquiry" in the subject line.

The event will feature the band’s timeless hits as well as performances from rising and seasoned artists. The lineup includes OPM veterans Basti Artadi, Dong Abay Music Organization, Imago, Moonstar88, and The Itchyworms.

Other artists who will grace the stage are Blaster, Carousel Casualties, Alyson, Party Pace, Pinkmen, and Sa Vie.

Eraserheads, composed of Ely Buendia, Marcus Adoro, Raimund Marasigan, and Buddy Zabala—disbanded in 2002. They teased about a possible reunion in October 2021 when Buendia said they would make a comeback if former Vice President Leni Robredo ran for president. He later backtracked and said it was a "half-serious" joke when Robredo formalized her bid.

They eventually reunited and performed at a sold-out SMDC Festival Grounds venue in 2022. They also held a "Huling El Bimbo" world tour, which took them to the USA, Canada, Singapore, Dubai, Doha, Australia, and New Zealand.

Buendia announced on April 6 that Adoro will be stepping back from the band's upcoming project following new rape allegations against him.
