The stars and crew of the upcoming romantic comedy The Last Resort visited President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Malacañang on Wednesday, May 21, bringing together Hollywood and Filipino art.

Leading the star-studded delegation were Daisy Ridley and Alden Ehrenreich, globally recognized as Star Wars' Rey Skywalker and the young Han Solo, respectively.

Their latest movie, currently being filmed in the Philippines, is directed by Donald Petrie, acclaimed for hits like Miss Congeniality and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Aside from the film and official greetings, everyone noticed Ridley's outfit choice. The British actress, styled by Jona Ballaran, looked elegant in a bright yellow and green pineapple-printed Terno top and stylish striped pants that celebrated Filipino style.

The custom Terno top was a bespoke design by Cheetah Rivera Atelier. While they didn't share the exact price for the custom top, clients can make an appointment to learn more. To order, they can contact 09479919878 or email ateliercheetahrivera@gmail.com.

Complementing the Terno, Ridley's striped trousers were a bespoke creation by Happy Andrada, a designer renowned for her innovative fusion of traditional materials and techniques and modern aesthetics.

Andrada shared insights about the piece, telling PhilSTAR L!fe, "She selected the trousers. It’s a one-of-a-kind creation."

She added that while customization is possible, the fabric's availability would depend on local weavers.

For those who want this unique design, Ridley's trousers are valued at P7,000.

The Last Resort, as reported by Variety, revolves around a hotel executive's journey to the Philippines in search of an ideal resort location, where an unexpected encounter with an expatriate charter pilot changes her course.

Ridley, who has been in the country since last month, shared snaps from Palawan, saying, "The Philippines so far feat. paradise, monitor lizards, commuting to work by boat, sunsets and beautiful views everywhere you look. 2 weeks into The Last Resort!!!"
