Kitchie Nadal to hold solo concert on June 21
Kitchie Nadal is set to hold her first-ever solo concert on June 21.
The OPM legend is set to hold her show titled New Ground Manila on Saturday, June 21, 8 p.m. at Smart Araneta Coliseum—her first time to headline the venue in her 20 years in the industry.
In a press release, Kitchie said that the concert is about her “exploring a new direction in [her] music career.” She will also be joined by guest artists, which has yet to be unveiled.
She also hinted at making fresh music from her collaborations with other artists.
“What I’m most excited about are the new collaborations—especially with guest artists I’ve never worked with before. We’re doing something really out of the box this time, mixing genres and creating moments that are totally unexpected, something fans definitely haven’t seen from me yet,” she said.
Now a mother based in Spain, Kitchie said that she's been exposed to a lot of European and Spanish music, which further inspired her to work on new songs.

In 2024, the Same Ground singer celebrated her 20th anniversary in the music industry with a concert at the New Frontier Theater. She was joined by fellow OPM icons such as Barbie Almalbis, Aia de Leon, Hannah Romawac, Acel Bisa, and Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise.
Kitchie was the original lead vocalist of Mojofly. She made waves in the OPM with her self-titled solo album, which included hit tracks Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin, Bulong!!!, Breathe, and Same Ground.
