Dog the Bounty Hunter’s stepson accidentally shoots his own child to death—report
The stepson of known bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman shot his 13-year-old child dead by accident, TMZ reported.
According to a report by the media outlet, authorities confirmed that the Dog the Bounty Hunter star’s relative Anthony died in an accidental shooting in their home last weekend.
His stepson Gregory Zecca was reportedly involved in it.
It was an “isolated incident,” per police.
Dog and his wife, Francie Chapman, confirmed Anthony’s passing to TMZ. "We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible, tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,” they said through their representative.
Dog is a TV star who shared his experiences as a bounty hunter in the reality series Dog the Bounty Hunter.
PEOPLE Magazine stated in its report that Zecca is the son of Dog's wife from her previous marriage.
Per TMZ, Zecca is part of Dog’s bounty hunting team.
Dog shares a total of 13 children with different women, according to PEOPLE Magazine.
