Kris Aquino said she will be in preventive isolation for six months at her family home in Tarlac amid her string of autoimmune diseases.

In an Instagram post on Aug. 11, the "Queen of All Media" shared a montage video of her hospital journey, as well as her interactions with medical staff and loved ones, including her youngest son Bimby.

"On purpose matagal akong hindi nag upload," she said in the caption. (Her last post was on July 20: an update on Bimby's health and her two new autoimmune diseases on top of the preexisting nine.)

"I have to admit if I told you what was happening, some of you may stop praying because my autoimmune diseases were increasing in number & my life-threatening ailments needed me to make a brave choice. Trust me, it’s difficult to accept every night when I sleep that there may be no tomorrow for me."

Aquino noted that she stayed at a private beach property by a "kind & generous family" for nearly two months, saying they want her to "regain my health as well as strengthen my faith in God’s merciful healing power."

However, due to her coming treatment sessions, which include a six- to eight-hour infusion in six days, she will have to be in preventive isolation for six months while her immunity will be "totally [wiped] out."

"I’ll live in our compound in Tarlac; my Cojuangco cousins and I fondly call it Alto," she said.

Aquino also answered questions from fans wondering where her eldest son, Josh, is.

"Since the deaths of his Lola Cory, Lola P, and tito Noy, seeing me frail, weak, often attached to my IV drip, kuya (Josh) is traumatized, visibly shaking, repeating 'mama get well, I love you," she said. "For now, he’s living with my genuinely super loving cousin."

The TV host also noted that Bimb "has sacrificed much" to take care of her.

"He is heaven’s gift, my optimistic adult who reminds me I should 'never surrender,'" she said.

She assured her supporters that after scheduled tests, treatments, and her recovery, she and Bimby are "ready to reveal all & show you everything for the first time."

"Please continue praying. [K]ailangan na kailangan ko," she said, adding thanks to her doctors, nurses, and "all who continue to believe gagaling pa rin ako."

Several personalities expressed their support in the comments section, including her impersonator Krissy Achino, actor Aga Muhlach, journalist Arnold Clavio, and celebrity couple Jason and Melai Francisco.

Aquino has been diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases while dealing with fibromyalgia, which triggers pain and tenderness throughout the body; polymyositis, an inflammatory disease that leads to muscle weakness; and mixed connective tissue disease, which combines disorders such as lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis.

She went to the United States in June 2022 to undergo treatment and returned to the Philippines in September 2024.
