Coldplay's Chris Martin jokingly warns about filming concert crowd following viral 'kiss cam' moment
Chris Martin, the frontman of British rock band Coldplay, jokingly warned about filming their concert crowd days after their last show's viral "kiss cam" moment between a tech company's boss and chief human resources officer.
"We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd,” the singer can be heard saying in a video posted on X on July 20, as he strums his guitar while the audience members laugh and applaud.
"How we’re gonna do that is we’re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen," he added. "So please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now."

This came after viral videos of Coldplay's July 16 concert in Boston showed Astronomer's Chief Executive Officer Andy Byron hugging Chief Human Resources Officer Kristin Cabot from behind, sparking affair rumors.
Seeing them on the big screen, frontman Chris Martin said, "Oh, look at these two."
Realizing that they're in the spotlight, Cabot covered her face and turned her back.
"Come on, you ok?" Martin said as Byron, already out of the camera's sight, sat on the ground. "Uh oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy."
On July 19, Astronomer on LinkedIn said its board of directors has initiated a formal investigation, noting it's "committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding."
The following day, the company announced that Byron had tendered his resignation in the wake of the incident.
"As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding," it said. "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met."
The company is now looking for its next CEO, while its co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Pete DeJoy, serves as interim CEO.
