TRENDING: Polish millionaire faces backlash for taking signed cap of tennis player who was giving it to a child during US Open
A Polish millionaire was caught on camera taking a tennis player's cap being given to a child during the US Open.
In a viral video on X, the child, who's named Brock according to multiple outlets including Daily Mail, was given a cap by Polish player Kamil Majchrzak, who was signing tennis items for fans.
But before Brock could get a hold of the cap, Piotr Szczerek—owner of the Polish asphalt company Drogbuk—swiftly took it before placing it inside the bag of his female companion, who can be seen taking photos.
A bewildered Brock can be seen asking for the cap back, as Szczerek gives the kid a pen before turning away.
Many netizens criticized Szczerek for his actions.

"That man is an absolute PRICK for taking it from a kid, hopefully he gets his comeuppance," one user said.
"What a vile piece of s**t," another user said.
The moment quickly went viral and got reposted by different accounts, eventually reaching Majchrzak.
In an Instagram Story preserved through a screen recording, the player can be seen meeting with Brock, giving him a new cap in addition to more gifts. He also had a photo opportunity with the boy and his family.
"Today after warm up, I had a nice meeting," Majchrzak wrote in the caption. "Do you recognize [cap emoji]?"
The IG Story also included a photo of Majchrzak and Brock wearing his new cap, with the text, "Hello World, Together with Brock we wish you a great day!"
Majchrzak also confirmed to the New York Post the identity of Szczerek, as well as commented on the incident.
“Obviously it was some kind of confusion,” Majchrzak is quoted as saying.
“I was pointing, giving the hat, but I had a lot going on after my match, after being super tired and super excited for the win. I just missed it. I had like a dead look if you know what I mean. I’m sure the guy was also acting in the moment of heat, in the moment of emotions.”
Majchrzak said Szczerek has since made an attempt to reach out to Brock to make amends.
“He also wanted to make things right, so I gave him the credentials for Brock’s mom on the same social media I was using to contact her,” Majchrzak said. "So, maybe he can make things right himself.”
Majchrzak beat ninth seed Karen Khachanov in a close match, 2-6, 6-7(4), 6-4, 7-5, 7-6(5).
