TikToker Chase Filandro dies at 20

Chase Filandro, an influencer and TikToker, has died. He was 20.

His family confirmed his death in a statement posted by his sister, Franki Ford, on Instagram.

“Our family is heartbroken and devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of our beloved,” they said.

His family described him as a “talented artist with boundless creativity” and a “beacon of light with a magnetic personality and zest for life that touched everyone he encountered, both in person and online.”

Those who knew Chase “understood his deep love for the arts and the outdoors,” they continued, adding that his passionate and genuine warmth “created lasting connections with people everywhere.”

“His light will continue to shine eternally in the hearts of all those he touched throughout his remarkable, though far too brief, life,” his family said.

“Chase brought joy, creativity, and inspiration to many. While our hearts are shattered by this tremendous loss, we find comfort in knowing that his artistic legacy and the love he shared will never be forgotten,” they added, asking for privacy as they continue to mourn the death of their loved one.

Chase was a content creator based in New York City. He enjoyed posting POV skits on TikTok, where he garnered over 27,000 followers, as well as travel photos on Instagram, where he had more than 30,000 followers.

He was also an amateur actor and a vocalist for Just Add Water, a five-member indie rock band.
