Weekend hangs: BTS fan festival, bazaar, and other fun things to do this June 13-15
Looking for the perfect way to unwind during this well-deserved pause?
With Independence Day making Thursday a holiday, it's the ideal chance for an extended break. Why not enjoy some quality time with your loved ones—friends, family, and even your furry companions?
To help you make the most of this fake long weekend, we've put together a list of fun activities to kickstart your plans.
June 11-15: Para Kay Juan
Up for a week-long celebration of Independence Day? You can commemorate the occasion through "Para Kay Juan" in Araneta City.
The event features the POP QC: Produktoni Juan bazaar at Farmers Plaza from June 11 to 15, where you can shop for unique products crafted by local small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Then on June 12, there will be a Jolllitown Independence Day parade happening at the Activity Area of Ali Mall.
June 14-15: FundLife’s Move for Play: Infinity Run

Those who would like to work up a sweat this weekend can participate in FundLife’s Move for Play: Infinity Run, the first 116-kilometer community run in the Philippines.
The event is part of the global celebration of the International Day of Play on June 11 and highlights the urgent need for safe, inclusive spaces where children can play, grow, and thrive.
The community run will cover a distance equivalent to nearly three full marathons, spanning from Clark all the way to Makati. It will be divided into four stages, with checkpoints every 29 kilometers.
If you're feeling intimidated, fret not as runners of all fitness levels are welcome to join any stage.
The event is scheduled to start on June 14 at 2 p.m. at the Clark Parade Grounds and will end on June 15 at 8 p.m. at Ayala Avenue.
June 15: FATHER'S DAY 2025: Daddyverse
Father's Day is right around the corner, and if you're on the lookout for events so you can spend some quality time with your dad, you can check out "Daddyverse" in Araneta City.
One of the things you can do is listen to insightful stories from celebrity dads such as JR Santiago, Joel Cruz, and Benedict Chua. The guided talk is scheduled on June 15 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Quantum Skyview in Gateway Mall 2.
For fur dads, there will be a pet service bazaar on June 14 and 15 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Ali Mall. Here, you can get a free vaccination, microchipping, and grooming for your beloved pets.
You can also participate in a fun run with your dad on June 15 from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
June 15: How to Train Your Dragon Screening

Hoping to catch the live-action adaptation of How to Train Your Dragon in the big screen? You can do so all while celebrating Father's Day through Bonifacio High Street Cinemas.
Furdads (and furmoms too) are invited to watch the film together with their beloved pets. Each ticket purchase grants access to one human and one furbaby, and it also comes with a free cup of "Pupcorn"–pet-safe, unseasoned, air-popped popcorn from Taters—plus a 10% discount voucher for all Taters products.
But that's not all as those who’ll watch the special screening can also enjoy a 20% discount on Natural Balance Treat big packs when they present their tickets at the Bow & Wow High Street branch from June 15 to 16.
The screening is at 1:00 p.m. at the BHS Cinemas, Central Square.
June 13 to July 9: Welcome to BorahaEast Army Fan Greetings

It's a great day to be an ARMY as various SM malls are set to hold fan gatherings to celebrate South Korean boy band BTS.
Participants can have a chance to connect with fellow fans and create wonderful moments with them through BTS-inspired activities and games, member-themed photo spots, and pop-up markets selling fan-made and official BTS merchandise.
For the upcoming weekend, you can catch the Welcome to BorahaEast event on June 14 at noon at SM City Taytay and June 15 at 2 p.m. at SM City Marikina.
Malaya Music Fest 2025

To cap off your weekend, you can partake in Malaya Music Fest 2025, Okada Manila’s iconic two-day celebration of music, freedom, and Pinoy pride.
You'll have the chance to experience unforgettable performances from the country’s most sought-after acts such as Ely Buendia, Mayonnaise, I Belong to the Zoo, Kamikazee, Silent Sanctuary, and more.
The festival will take place at Cove Manila on June 14 and 15. Ticket prices start at P2,000.
