Craving Balay Dako's hearty dishes like sisig, kare-kare, sinigang, and the crowd favorite Pancit ni Antonio? How about its desserts like turon and leche flan? There's no need to go on a road trip to Tagaytay just to enjoy them as it has finally opened its first mall branch in Metro Manila.

The latest concept from The Antonio’s Group of Restaurants, Azela by Balay Dako has arrived at Robinsons Manila, bringing the Tagaytay spot's comforting takes on Filipino dishes closer to those who are living in the metro.

“Bringing the heart of Balay Dako to Metro Manila is something we’ve long envisioned,” said the Escalante family, who helms The Antonio’s Group. They noted that Azela goes beyond just being a restaurant—"it’s a place where stories are shared, memories are made, and heritage is passed on through flavors that raised us.”

At Azela by Balay Dako, guests can delight in a curated menu of hero dishes that have been loved by Pinoys for nearly a decade now. These include Tagaytay’s iconic Bulalo na Baka, Ilonggo classics like Kansi and Fried Inasal, and beloved Filipino staples such as Kare-Kare Klasik, Crispy Pancit Luglug, and Pinakbet Rice. Prepared with precision and care, each meal is designed to be enjoyed with your nearest and dearest over some good conversations at the table.

While it's located inside a mall, Azela evokes the same charm and warmth as Balay Dako. Casual but nostalgic, the atmosphere in its Metro Manila branch is just as perfect for family gatherings, reunions with friends, and even a quick meal in the middle of a busy day.

"Food has always been more than just sustenance," the Escalante family pointed out. "It’s how we connect, how we remember, and how we celebrate. At Azela, we bring these connections to life with every meal."
