Is Facebook Messenger down? Users report problems
Having trouble accessing Facebook and Messenger?
The online messaging platforms appears to currently be experiencing technical issues in various parts of the world including the Philippines.
According to DownDetector, several social media users have reported troubles in using their Facebook and Messenger apps.
As seen in their graph, 270 users have begun submitted complaints starting at 3:04 p.m. before this increased to 641 at 3:19 p.m. A total of 805 users are suffering from the outage as of 3:43 p.m.
The most reported problem is being unable to send messages, with 91% of users are experiencing the issue.
Some have also taken to X to report the problem and ask others if they're also experiencing the same issue on the platform.
"Is it just me or are Facebook and Messenger glitching out and taking 10 hours to send a message?" one user posted.
Another asked, "Is Facebook and Messenger down? Hindi nagsesend lahat ng messages."
As of writing, Meta has yet to address the issue and confirm whether the apps have been hit with an outage.
